London – In order to support Indonesia’s commitment to produce sustainable palm oil, the government of Indonesia has published the regulation obliging all palm oil companies in Indonesia to have Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil by the end  of 2014. “Throgh ISPO, our medium term target – to export 100% CSPO production – could be realized in the short term,” Vice Secretary of Trade, Bayu Krisnamurthi said.

Jakarta–Palm oil has the same luck as soybean oil having more expensive price. Soybean oil in the world commodity exchange falls down 8% in last two weeks. Good weather in United States (US) pushes the planting activities. 78% of the soybean harvest in US has been planted since last Sunday. It is higher than last 5 years which was 70%, US Agriculture Departement said. Meanwhile, the palm oil price in last two weeks decreases 6%.
