Philippine Targets to Converse 8 Millions Hectare Palm oIl




Philippine–Philippine proposed to converse 8 millions hectare abandoned, unproductive areas to be palm oil plantations. Philippine Daily Inquirer reported it.  

According to the news quoted from Invetvine, Wednesday, (4/6/2014), the Secretary of Environment, Ramon Paje officially announced, it was targeted two weeks ago for the country would get $50 billions or more from the harvest.

The Secretary continued, the empty area should be replanted to minimize the disasters, such as, the flood, and erosion. The empty area should also be planted by the food trees to feed all of the philipinnes.

Philippine is the smallest palm oil producer exporting palm oil. Palm oil production is one benefial form and is utilized from agricultural areas in the tropical region. (T3)
