InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent smallholder partner growers in Riau Province strengthened again for the August 26–September 1, 2026 pricing period, with the benchmark price for nine-year-old oil palm trees reaching Rp3,878.72 per kilogram.
The price increased by Rp44.33/kg from the previous period, when nine-year-old palms were valued at Rp3,834.39/kg.
As reported by InfoSAWIT on Wednesday (August 26, 2026), the new pricing applies from Wednesday through Tuesday, August 26–September 1, 2026. The FFB price is calculated based on several key components, including crude palm oil (CPO) prices, palm kernel prices, the K Index and shell value.
The official FFB prices for Riau’s independent smallholder partner growers are as follows:
3 years: Rp2,998.31/kg
4 years: Rp3,347.20/kg
5 years: Rp3,595.38/kg
6 years: Rp3,734.94/kg
7 years: Rp3,818.86/kg
8 years: Rp3,865.46/kg
9 years: Rp3,878.72/kg
10–20 years: Rp3,836.93/kg
21 years: Rp3,770.94/kg
22 years: Rp3,695.31/kg
23 years: Rp3,609.33/kg
24 years: Rp3,544.29/kg
25 years: Rp3,490.84/kg
26 years: Rp3,471.62/kg
27 years: Rp3,441.82/kg
28 years: Rp3,385.41/kg
29 years: Rp3,344.02/kg
30 years: Rp3,249.41/kg
The highest FFB price for the period remains that of nine-year-old oil palms at Rp3,878.72/kg, exceeding the Rp3,865.46/kg set for eight-year-old trees and Rp3,836.93/kg for palms aged between 10 and 20 years.
The increase was supported by changes in the key pricing components. CPO was set at Rp15,837.47/kg, while palm kernel prices were fixed at Rp13,313.30/kg.
The K Index used in the FFB price calculation was set at 93.34%, while the shell price was determined at Rp24.76/kg. (T2)
