InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for palm oil smallholders participating in plasma partnership schemes in Riau Province have increased for the September 2–8, 2026 period, with the highest price set at Rp3,931.55 per kilogram for nine-year-old palms.
The price was determined through the Riau Provincial Palm Oil FFB Price-Setting Team and recorded in the official minutes of the meeting for plasma smallholder FFB purchase prices, Document Number 32 of 2026.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Palm Oil FFB Price-Setting Team on Tuesday (September 1, 2026), the price-setting meeting was held at the Riau Plantation Agency office. The new price applies from Wednesday through Tuesday, September 2–8, 2026.
The latest calculation was based on an average crude palm oil (CPO) selling price of Rp15,672.37 per kilogram for the August 24–30, 2026 period. The average palm kernel price was set at Rp13,520.92 per kilogram.
The K Index used in the FFB price calculation stood at 93.51 percent, while the shell value was set at Rp17.98 per kilogram.

The following are the official FFB prices for plasma smallholders in Riau Province based on the latest determination:
3-year-old palms: Rp3,028.92/kg
4-year-old palms: Rp3,434.73/kg
5-year-old palms: Rp3,640.63/kg
6-year-old palms: Rp3,799.42/kg
7-year-old palms: Rp3,881.20/kg
8-year-old palms: Rp3,927.09/kg
9-year-old palms: Rp3,931.55/kg
10–20-year-old palms: Rp3,910.43/kg
21-year-old palms: Rp3,848.87/kg
22-year-old palms: Rp3,789.85/kg
23-year-old palms: Rp3,729.83/kg
24-year-old palms: Rp3,657.75/kg
25-year-old palms: Rp3,580.08/kg
26-year-old palms: Rp3,532.98/kg
27-year-old palms: Rp3,485.68/kg
28-year-old palms: Rp3,439.65/kg
29-year-old palms: Rp3,422.06/kg
30-year-old palms: Rp3,407.40/kg
Nine-year-old palms recorded the highest FFB price at Rp3,931.55 per kilogram, followed closely by eight-year-old palms at Rp3,927.09 per kilogram. The price for palms aged 10–20 years stood at Rp3,910.43 per kilogram.
At the lower end of the range, the FFB price for 30-year-old palms was set at Rp3,407.40 per kilogram.
The variation in FFB prices according to palm age reflects the pricing formula applied to different age groups and their production characteristics.
The latest determination also highlights the role of CPO and palm kernel prices in the calculation. With the average CPO price at Rp15,672.37 per kilogram and palm kernel at Rp13,520.92 per kilogram, the FFB price was calculated using a K Index of 93.51 percent. (T2)
