ILLINOIS–In 2015, the second biggest food and drink company in the world, Mondelez International, officially announced its plan to utilize sustainable palm oil from the suppliers implementing sustainable practices.

Mondelez International plans to vanish all stocks which are improper to the criteria and the company will report every single progress in each year.

“It is a call to realize the welfare and also it is an urge for the supplier and the people to develop innovative enclosure which will be positive for mankind and the planet,” Mondelez International said in its official statement which InfoSAWIT got, Wednesday, (4/6/2014).

According to the group, the palm oil action plan will complete the wider and sustainable commitments’ of Mondelez International.

The action plan was officially announced in the European Roundtable Conference in London which was also developed together with World Wildlife Fund and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). (T3)
