InfoSAWIT, PALANGKA RAYA – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm smallholders in Central Kalimantan declined in the first August 2026 pricing period, with the highest price for plasma growers set at Rp3,761.22 per kilogram for palms aged between 10 and 20 years.
Meanwhile, independent smallholders with a fruit composition of 100% tenera and 0% dura received an FFB price of Rp3,446.47 per kg.
The prices apply to the August 1–15, 2026 period and were determined by the Central Kalimantan Provincial FFB Pricing Team for plasma and independent smallholders.
The calculation was based on an average local CPO price of Rp15,436.26 per kg and an average local palm kernel price of Rp13,501.55 per kg. The K Index was set at 92.26%.

The highest price for plasma smallholders was recorded in the 10–20-year age category, while three-year-old palms posted the lowest price at Rp3,073.76 per kg.
Central Kalimantan FFB Prices for Independent Smallholders
In addition to age-based prices for plasma growers, the provincial pricing team also established FFB prices for independent smallholders based on the proportion of tenera and dura fruit.
Tenera 100% – Dura 0%: Rp3,446.47/kg
Tenera 90% – Dura 10%: Rp3,424.22/kg
Tenera 80% – Dura 20%: Rp3,401.96/kg
Tenera 70% – Dura 30%: Rp3,379.71/kg
Tenera 60% – Dura 40%: Rp3,356.51/kg
Tenera 50% – Dura 50%: Rp3,333.95/kg
Tenera 40% – Dura 60%: Rp3,311.70/kg
For independent growers, the highest price was set for the 100% tenera category, while the lowest price applied to fruit consisting of 40% tenera and 60% dura.
Despite a slight increase in local CPO prices compared with the previous period, a correction in palm kernel prices affected the overall FFB calculation, resulting in lower prices for both plasma and independent smallholders during the first August 2026 period.
The next Central Kalimantan FFB pricing meeting for the second August 2026 period is scheduled for September 3, 2026, and will be held online via Zoom. (T2)
