Central Kalimantan Palm Oil FFB Price Reaches Rp3,766.73/kg for 10–20-Year-Old Plasma Plantations

InfoSAWIT, PALANGKA RAYA – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for smallholder oil palm plantations in Central Kalimantan rose during the second period of August 2026, with the highest price for plasma partner smallholders reaching Rp3,766.73 per kilogram for palms aged 10–20 years.

The price increased by Rp5.52/kg from the previous period.

For independent smallholders with a fruit composition of 100% tenera and 0% dura, the FFB price was set at Rp3,449.87/kg. The prices applied to the August 16–31, 2026 period.

According to the Central Kalimantan FFB pricing team’s meeting held on Thursday (September 3, 2026), the average local CPO price for the second period of August stood at Rp15,540.28/kg, up Rp104.02/kg from Rp15,436.26/kg during the first period.

Meanwhile, the average local palm kernel price declined to Rp13,151.19/kg from Rp13,501.55/kg. The K factor remained unchanged at 92.26%.

Plasma Smallholder FFB Prices

The following are the Central Kalimantan FFB prices for plasma partner smallholders during the second period of August 2026:

3 years: Rp3,080.59/kg

4 years: Rp3,206.76/kg

5 years: Rp3,360.40/kg

6 years: Rp3,482.94/kg

7 years: Rp3,510.62/kg

8 years: Rp3,577.24/kg

9 years: Rp3,655.00/kg

10–20 years: Rp3,766.73/kg

21 years: Rp3,711.15/kg

22 years: Rp3,612.22/kg

23 years: Rp3,506.67/kg

24 years: Rp3,403.44/kg

25 years: Rp3,346.53/kg

The highest plasma FFB price was therefore recorded for plantations aged 10–20 years at Rp3,766.73/kg, while the lowest was for three-year-old palms at Rp3,080.59/kg.

Compared with the first period of August, the FFB price for 10–20-year-old plantations rose from Rp3,761.22/kg, representing an increase of Rp5.52/kg. Overall, plasma FFB prices increased by between Rp1.37 and Rp9.42/kg during the period.

Independent Smallholder FFB Prices

The Central Kalimantan pricing team also established FFB prices for independent smallholders based on the proportion of tenera and dura fruit.

The prices were:

100% Tenera – 0% Dura: Rp3,449.87/kg

90% Tenera – 10% Dura: Rp3,427.26/kg

80% Tenera – 20% Dura: Rp3,404.65/kg

70% Tenera – 30% Dura: Rp3,382.04/kg

60% Tenera – 40% Dura: Rp3,358.22/kg

50% Tenera – 50% Dura: Rp3,335.61/kg

40% Tenera – 60% Dura: Rp3,313.00/kg

The highest price for independent smallholders was set at Rp3,449.87/kg for 100% tenera and 0% dura, while the lowest was Rp3,313.00/kg for a 40% tenera and 60% dura composition.

Higher CPO Price, Lower Kernel Price

The movement in Central Kalimantan’s FFB prices was closely linked to changes in two key components of the pricing formula: CPO and palm kernel prices.

The local CPO price increased by Rp104.02/kg to Rp15,540.28/kg. At the same time, the local kernel price fell by Rp350.35/kg to Rp13,151.19/kg. The K factor remained at 92.26%.

The official minutes stated that the FFB prices applied from August 16 to 31, 2026, while changes in planting-year categories are implemented every July.

The next FFB pricing meeting for the first period of September 2026 is scheduled for Thursday (September 17, 2026), at the Central Kalimantan Plantation Agency Hall. (T2)
