InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced by plasma partner smallholders in Riau Province has increased for the September 9–15, 2026 trading period.
Based on the latest price determination by the Riau Provincial Palm Oil FFB Price Determination Team, the highest FFB price reached Rp3,994.10 per kilogram for oil palm trees aged nine years. The price represents an increase of Rp62.55 per kilogram compared with the previous period.
The latest price determination is contained in the Minutes of the Meeting on the Determination of Purchase Prices for Fresh Fruit Bunches Produced by Plasma Partner Smallholders in Riau Province, document No. 33/TPH TBS-IX/2026.
According to the calculation components used by the team, the average crude palm oil (CPO) price during the sales period of August 31–September 6, 2026, stood at Rp15,964.15 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the average palm kernel price was set at Rp13,555.16 per kilogram.
The K Index, which is used in the FFB pricing formula, was set at 93.51%, while the shell value stood at Rp17.98 per kilogram.
Riau Plasma Palm Oil FFB Prices for September 9–15
The following are the officially determined FFB prices for plasma partner smallholders in Riau Province based on the age of the oil palm trees:
3-year-old palms: Rp3,075.87/kg
4-year-old palms: Rp3,489.07/kg
5-year-old palms: Rp3,698.57/kg
6-year-old palms: Rp3,860.08/kg
7-year-old palms: Rp3,943.06/kg
8-year-old palms: Rp3,989.70/kg
9-year-old palms: Rp3,994.10/kg
10–20-year-old palms: Rp3,972.52/kg
21-year-old palms: Rp3,909.83/kg
22-year-old palms: Rp3,849.66/kg
23-year-old palms: Rp3,785.47/kg
24-year-old palms: Rp3,715.08/kg
25-year-old palms: Rp3,635.96/kg
26-year-old palms: Rp3,587.97/kg
27-year-old palms: Rp3,539.75/kg
28-year-old palms: Rp3,492.79/kg
29-year-old palms: Rp3,474.88/kg
30-year-old palms: Rp3,459.95/kg
The nine-year-old plantation category recorded the highest FFB price at Rp3,994.10 per kilogram. Prices then gradually declined among older plantation categories, with 21-year-old palms valued at Rp3,909.83 per kilogram and 30-year-old palms recording the lowest price at Rp3,459.95 per kilogram.
The next FFB price determination for the September 16–22, 2026 period is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB). (T2)
