KUALA LUMPUR – The absorption of increasing development of certified sustainable palm oil (CSPO) in the first semester 2014 has increased about 47% in the global markets. It was 6 poins higher than the same period in last year.

JAKARTA -  The Secretary of Trade Muhammad Lutfi disappointed the cancellation of some articles done by the Court of Justice about the Regulation of Government (RG) No 31 / 2007. The cancellation, he thought, is not as same as what the government wants to increase, the downstreaming domestic products, such as, palm oil.

TANA PASER – Plantation Agency, East Kalimantan vanished 12.000 illegal palm oil seeds in Petangis Village, Subdistrict of Batu Engau, District of Paser, Thursday (14/8/2014).

SAMARINDA – To enlarge the plantation area, especially palm oil plantation in East Kalimantan to be 2,4 millions hectares in 2018 will have more challenge, such as, the spreading of fake palm oil seeds.

SINGAPURA – The income of Golden Agri-Resources Ltd (GAR) in the first semester 2014 (1H2014) increased about 27% to be US$3,95 billions (year on year) than the same period which was only US$3,11 billions.

JAKARTA – The positive production and the average increasing crude palm oil (CPO) price which Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) got in the first semester  2014 (1H2014),  have also increased the net profit of the company about r 90,9% to be Rp 1,37 billions than in the same period in last year which was only Rp 717 billions.

JAKARTA – One biggest palm oil producer in the world, Cargill has promised to run sustainable palm oil practices. Head of Indonesia’s Forest Global Campaigner, Greenpeace, Bustar Maitar recently said it.

TIMIKA – Head of Forestry Agency, Mimika, Syahrial told that Pusaka Agro Lestari in 2014 has enlarged palm oil plantation about 3.500 hectares in district of Iwaka, Mimika, Papua.

Kuala Lumpur – Referring to Rountable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), by the second quarter 2014, the demand of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) increased about 64,7%. Kuala Lumpur – Certification system of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm (RSPO) has recently agreed to the certification for sustainable biofuel products (RSPO  RED). It is also admitted by  by the European Commission of Renewable Energy Directive (RED) since November 2012.

KUALA LUMPUR  - Surveyor Intertek Testing Services on Wednesday (20/8/2014), reported, Malaysian crude palm oil (CPO) export in 1-20 August decreased 5,39% to be 822.026 tons than in 1-20 July which was about 868.843 tons.

Jakarta –  Referring to Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), the productions of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) have reached 11,1 millions tons, or about 18% from the world’s total CPO production.
