InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) offered through PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) continued to record withdrawals (WD) on Wednesday (July 1, 2026), even as benchmark palm oil futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) recovered during midday trading.
According to market data obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the highest CPO offer reached Rp15,417/kg, up Rp20/kg, or approximately 0.13%, from the previous day's highest offer of Rp15,397/kg on Tuesday (June 30, 2026).
At the KPBN tender, Franco Dumai opened at Rp15,675/kg, but the tender was withdrawn after the highest bid reached Rp15,417/kg. Meanwhile, FOB Talang Duku was offered at Rp15,475/kg, with the highest bid at Rp15,217/kg, also ending in a withdrawal.
Similarly, Franco Teluk Bayur opened at Rp15,545/kg before being withdrawn after receiving a top bid of Rp15,274/kg.
Several inland mill locations also recorded withdrawals. Loco PKS Parindu & Ngabang opened at Rp15,325/kg with the highest bid at Rp15,005/kg, while Loco PKS Kembayan opened at Rp15,225/kg and received a highest bid of Rp14,885/kg. No bidders participated in the Loco Luwu tender.
In contrast to Indonesia's physical market, Malaysian palm oil futures reversed earlier losses and traded higher during the session.
According to Reuters, the benchmark September 2026 palm oil contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives gained RM29 per metric ton, or 0.64%, to RM4,575 per metric ton (approximately US$1,118.58) by the midday break. The recovery was supported by stronger Chicago soybean oil futures and a weaker Malaysian ringgit, which improved the competitiveness of the country's palm oil exports.
In the broader vegetable oil market, Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soybean oil futures advanced 0.29%. However, sentiment remained softer in China, where the most active soybean oil contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange slipped 0.3%, while palm oil futures on the same exchange declined 0.45%.
