JAKARTA - The Secretary of Trade Muhammad Lutfi disappointed the cancellation of some articles done by the Court of Justice about the Regulation of Government (RG) No 31 / 2007. The cancellation, he thought, is not as same as what the government wants to increase, the downstreaming domestic products, such as, palm oil.
"The cancellation of the RG is not so good to the downstreaming process. I disappointed it. We should not listed crude palm oil, actually. But the other commodities will not get the effects. But this is gone wrong. It is not equal to the downstreaming commitment,” he said that as quoted from Kabar Bisnis, Wednesday (13/8/2014).
The cancellation of the RG will make the farmers sell the products to foreign countries than selling in domestic.
For information the RG regulates about the establishment of the agricultural, plantation, forestry products as the things which are free from the value added tax. (T3)
