KOTA KINABULU -Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) suggested that Malaysia should produce sustainable branded palm oil. But Chairman of MPOC, Datuk Lee Yeow Chor said, this should base on many criteria and obey the international standard by good practices.
"We think, Internasional Palm Sustainability minyak Conference (IPOSC) 2014 is the inspiration for us that there will be new informations, new ideas in the conference,” he said when opening the ceremony, Tuesday (18/8/2014), as quoted from Bernama.
In that occasion, Lee also hoped that Malaysian palm oil industries should use their new ideas to increase the aspects of sustainability to produce palm oil and create branded palm oil. (T3)
