InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent oil palm smallholders in Riau Province increased for the July 15–21, 2026 pricing period, according to the latest decision issued by the provincial pricing committee.
Based on the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency's FFB pricing decree No. 25 for the July 15–21, 2026 period, the benchmark price for nine-year-old oil palm trees rose by Rp36.71 per kilogram, bringing the price to Rp3,832.75/kg.
According to data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices were set at Rp2,966.50/kg for three-year-old palms, Rp3,309.23/kg for four-year-old palms, Rp3,552.03/kg for five-year-old palms, Rp3,689.13/kg for six-year-old palms, Rp3,772.31/kg for seven-year-old palms, and Rp3,818.05/kg for eight-year-old palms.
For older plantations, the benchmark price reached Rp3,832.75/kg for nine-year-old palms, while palms aged 10–20 years were priced at Rp3,792.70/kg. Prices for older trees were set at Rp3,728.69/kg for 21-year-old palms, Rp3,654.99/kg for 22-year-old palms, Rp3,571.19/kg for 23-year-old palms, Rp3,507.73/kg for 24-year-old palms, and Rp3,455.66/kg for 25-year-old palms.
Meanwhile, FFB prices were established at Rp3,436.91/kg for 26-year-old palms, Rp3,407.93/kg for 27-year-old palms, Rp3,352.98/kg for 28-year-old palms, Rp3,312.59/kg for 29-year-old palms, and Rp3,220.28/kg for 30-year-old palms.
The pricing formula for the current period was based on a crude palm oil (CPO) reference price of Rp15,602.00/kg, a palm kernel price of Rp14,115.00/kg, a shell value of Rp23.11/kg, and a K index of 92.45%.
The announced prices serve as the official benchmark established by the provincial government. Actual FFB prices received by independent smallholders may vary depending on local market conditions and negotiations at the mill level. (T2)
