InfoSAWIT, ROKAN HULU – PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) has expanded its social programs for communities around its operational areas through initiatives covering nutrition, education, and access to basic necessities.
Through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, the company launched a Nutrition Program, provided reading books and laptops for students, and organized a People's Market in the Riau 4 plantation area.
The activities were centered at SD KITA YADIKA Batang Kumu I in Rokan Hulu, Riau, with beneficiaries from the Rantau Kasai, Tambusai Timur, Batang Kumu I, and Batang Kumu II plantation areas.
The programs are part of the company's efforts to extend the benefits of plantation operations to surrounding communities, particularly through support for student health, educational quality, and basic household needs.
Nutrition Support for Students
The Nutrition Program was one of the main components of Agrinas Palma Nusantara's TJSL activities. It is intended to help meet students' food and nutritional needs while they participate in school activities.
Improved food intake is expected to support students' health and help them take part in the learning process more effectively.
For the company, nutritional support is also viewed as a form of social investment in human resources in communities surrounding its operational areas.
The company also provided support for education by distributing reading books and laptops to students.
