PAINAN – Deforestation by unscrupulous community for the development of palm oil mill in Lengayang District, South Coast Regency, West Sumatera Province, successfully stopped by Kerinci Seblat National Park (KSNP) South Coast area Officer.
This justified by local KSNP officer, Husni. He said, his team reviewing to the location related to the report from local communities about the area that will used as palm oil mill by the local company.
“From our observation field, it is true there were any deforestation in KSNP forest area in Kampung Limau Manih Kulam, Lengayang District, South Coast Regency,” he said, on last Friday, as cited by Antara Sumbar. (T3)
