PEKANBARU – Palm oil plantation wide area in Riau is increasing yearly, but the management isn’t develops yet. This is what unfortunated by Sawit Watch activists.
Cited from Bertua Pos, Head Campaign Department of Sawit Watch marks there were no impropriety of palm oil management system,, especially in Riau. “It is so ironic, palm oil plantations grow, but no for the development. While our country is prefer to importing foods from abroad,” he said, on Monday (08/12/2014).
He stated, Indonesia to date needs palm oil downstream industry, no more crude materials supplier. “Palm oil downstream industry is urgent needs and cannot be negotiable for now,” he said. (T3)
