JAKARTA – Chairman of the Advisory Board of Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association (Apindo), Sofjan Wanandi stated, the government’ regulation in revoke corporation forestry sector business license affects the unstable in investment cycle.
He stated, the government cannot at will in revoking corporation forestry sector business license just based in the unsatisfied statement from the people.
“It should be, the government prioritizes in pro-investment regulation in line with expectation to supporting economy development and creating national employment opportunities,” he said, on Sunday (07/12/2014), as cited by Antara.
Moreover, Sofjan added, business faces thorny issues currently. So that the government is not expected to add to the existing load with the business license revoked without a clear legal basis for result to not conducive investment cycle.
That’s why, he expects Environment and Forestry Ministry would coordinating with related association such as Indonesian Forest Entrepreneurs (APHI) and Indonesian Palm Oil Entrepreneurs Association (GAPKI). (T3)
