BANDUNG – Head of Remuneration and Social Security of Apindo, Hariyadi B Sukamdani stated, although in 2015 there still no any obstacle from man power, but palm oil industry surely will affected by the impact for long term.
“In 2015 by the rising of Regional Minimum Salary (RMS), the amount of palm oil labors generally will haigher from last year,” he said to Okezone, on Thursday (27/11/2014).
He predicts, th eimplementation of government regulation in developing plantations rejuvenation, triggers the labors to ask the increasing of their salary.
“Palm oil industry is one of the sectors most affected by the increase in the minimum salary. Consequently, the sector must do terminations, cause dominantly there are so many labors whose aren’t productive, it have to be reduced,” he said. (T4)
