KUALA LUMPUR – A subsidiary company of New Britain Palm Oil (NBPOL), Sedenak Palm Oil Mill which is located in Malaysia, in its official statement cited by Channel News Asia, plans to reduces the using of diesel for its operations by 60% and replaced by the using of biogas.
“At one mill, we use 150,000 litres of diesel per year. So by doing biogas project we expect it to reduce by 60% the diesel usage,” said Wan Adlin, senior manager of Sedenak Palm Oil Mill.
He added to explain, the company plan to dispose all the diesel later on. And if the technology is there, the company going to power up their tractors, and exerything by biogas. (T4)
