JAKARTA – Association of Palm Oil Companies in Indonesia (GAPKI), estimated until the end of October 2014 the CPO’s price will stagnant. They noted that the average price of CPO in Rotterdam in September 2014 were in US$ 680 – US$ 730 per metric ton by average price US$ 712 per metric ton, decreasing about 5,4% compared by the average price in August were US$ 753 per metric ton.
Besides, the daily price of CPO in global market (Cif Rotterdam) recorded as decreasing from first until the third week in this October, the price were only in US$ 695 – US$ 730 per metric ton. “So that, it is estimated the price will stagnant in the last week on October in US$ 700 – US$ 730 per metric ton,” said Executive Director of GAPKI, Fadhil Hasan, in an official statement to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (21st October 2014).
