JAKARTA – General Director of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Gamal Nasir said to InfoSAWIT, Ministry of Agriculture recorded, the total export of palm oil plantation sector in Semester 1 2014 reached US$ 6,3 billions. It decreased than the last year in the same period, which was US$ 6,6 billions. On the other hand, the export volume in 2013 increased to be US$ 26,4 billions than US$ 24,2 billions in 2012.

General Directorate of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, by the end of June 2014 claimed, the imported seeds reached 1,14 millions, while the exported palm oil seeds reached 667 seeds.

By June 2014, the orders of palm oil seeds reached 39 millions and the productions could be 200 millions seeds but they are 180 millions seeds only. (T3)
