Jakarta – After making the biodiesel mandatory of palm oil biodiesel absorption, the government will regulate the blending of avtur and biodiesel in 2016.
To have good results, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources together with Ministry of Transportation are making some researches of the blending. According to General Director of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation, Rida Mulyana, in the office of Ministry of Transportation, Tuesday, (26/2014), the policy has been running since the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) since December 27th, 2013. But it will effectively be run in 2016.
As quoted from Tribun, the blending will start from 2% of biodiesel to the avtur. To know this program will run well or not, the government has prepared palm oil to produce biodiesel. It is hoped, when the blending 2% of biodiesel runs well, palm oil stocks have existed. (T2)
