JAKARTA – Palm oil company, PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk, got increasing productions in last several months significantly. The price of fruit in the first semerster 2014 (6M14) reached 691.942 tons or it increased 37% higher than the same period in last year.
“The achievement happened for the plantations in South Sumatera produced 460.837tonsof fruit in6M14, or31% higher than the same period in last year,” the company said in the written data which InfoSAWIT got, Wednesday, (23/7/2014).
The company also explained, the region still had 31% year-on-year decreasing outputin the first quarter 2014, but the harvest of the fruit was faster in the next months, reaching 307.656tonsin2Q14, or 101% higher than in 1Q14.
Meanwhile, in 6M14, the company in Kalimantan produced231.104tonsof fruits oratau51% higher than in6M13. (T3)
