SYDNEY – Secretary of Trade, Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad did billateral meeting with Secretary of Economic Development of Russia, A.V. Ulykaev, Saturday, (19/7) in Sydney, Australia.
In the meeting, both sides discussed the opportunity to trade, especially the derivative of crude palm oil (CPO) of Indonesia to Russia, the prospect of wheat and wheat flour of Russia in Indonesia and the plan of Indonesia’s planes to buy or rent Sukhoi Superjet 100 made of Russia.
Beside that, CPO as the mainstay product of Indonesia became the main topic whichh was discussed in the billateral meeting and hope that Russia becomes the penetrate base of European market or in Russia itself.
“We sold the derivative CPO products which were seven folds cheaper than the production costs compared to the competitors’ products in Europe,” Lutfi explained in his written data in Ministry of Agriculture which InfoSAWIT got, Sunday (20/7/2014). (T3)
