JAKARTA – Palm oil company running plantation business, PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (Lonsum) booked, the selling in the first quarter in 2015 (1Q2015) reached Rp 888,5 billionsor decreased 30,6% than the selling in the same period in last year (2014).
The decreasing selling happened for the average of selling price was decreasing too and the volume selling for palm oil and rubber was too. The company mentioned it in the official statement, Thursday (30/4).
The decreasing selling of the fruit and rubber happened for the decreasing global price for both products.
The selling volume of crude palm oil (CPO) reached 87.356 tonsor decreased 23,1%. “About 84% of selling CPO volume were sold to PT SIMP Tbk within the standard commercial requirement and the rests were sold to other domestic company,” the company mentioned.
The kernel oil selling volume in 1Q2015 decreased 11,4% to be 21.537 tons. But the palm oil seed selling increased 37,4% to be 1,5 millions seeds than the first quarter 2014 which reaching 1,0 millions only. (T3)
