InfoSAWIT, NAGEKEO – PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) has provided humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), reaching approximately 1,560 people across several affected areas.

The aid was distributed over three days, from Friday to Sunday, August 28–30, 2026, through the BP BUMN Post and in cooperation with social organizations operating in disaster-affected areas.

The company’s assistance was directed at affected communities, including vulnerable groups and children, while also supporting the recovery of damaged places of worship.

Beyond basic necessities, Agrinas Palma Nusantara provided emergency supplies including clean water, tents, generators and lighting packages, as well as psychosocial support for children in Neoniba Hamlet.

Company Says Support Aims to Ease Post-Disaster Burden

Moch Gatut Mukti, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSL) Division at PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara, said the assistance reflected the company’s commitment to remaining alongside communities facing the aftermath of the disaster.

“This assistance is a form of our concern and commitment to stand with communities affected by the earthquake in NTT.”

He said the company hoped the assistance would ease the burden on affected residents and provide support during the recovery process.

Agrinas Palma Nusantara also expressed hopes that people in NTT would have the strength and resilience to overcome the effects of the disaster and that the recovery process could proceed smoothly.

Support Extended to Children Affected by the Earthquake

The company’s humanitarian response was not limited to immediate emergency needs. Agrinas Palma Nusantara also sought to support the aspirations of children affected by the disaster.

One initiative involved providing financial assistance to a talented young football athlete in East Nusa Tenggara. The support was intended to encourage children to maintain their motivation to develop their abilities and pursue achievements despite the difficult post-disaster circumstances.

One recipient expressed appreciation for the assistance provided by Agrinas Palma Nusantara and hoped the company would continue to contribute to communities affected by disasters.

The humanitarian program forms part of Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s support for communities dealing with the earthquake’s impact.
