PEKANBARU - Indonesian Bank (IB) estimates in 2015, agriculture and processing industry in Riau Province is being slowdown.
Besides, IB also estimating non-oil export in global market isn’t repair yet, due to the economy development in main crude palm oil (CPO) destination export countries aren’t repair yet either in next year.
That’s why, Chairman IB Riau Branch, Mahdi Muhammad, on Thursday (11/12/2014), expects local government having regulation and strategies that can implement palm oil downstream industry come true.
“Processing industry has to be increased, due to it can give big multiplier effects toward the economy. Besides, it is needed a commitment and regulation in goods transportation based on the capacity,” he said, as published by Antara Riau. (T3)
