 KAMERUN – To increase palm oil productivity up to 26% for the next three years, government of Cameroon plans to use superior palm oil seeds. African Farming reported, Secretary of Agriculture of Cameroon, Essime Menye said, the new seeds will be planted in a 30 thousand hectare area. 

ABUJA– President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan convinced, the private sector investment in palm oil about 45 billions Niera to enlarge 70 thousand hectare palm oil plantation will support palm oil progress in the country and makes other plantation grow. 

JAMBI –Based on the decision of price making team in Plantation Agency of Jambi, from 6 – 12 February, 2015, the three year old fruit decreases Rp 28/kg to be Rp1.278/Kg which was Rp1.306/Kg.

PALANGKA RAYA– the fruit price in Central Kalimantan in February, 2015 for more than 10 years of old is Rp1.463,97/kg.

DUMAI –The plan of making palm oil downstream industrial cluster in Village of Pelintung, Dumai and Kuala Enok, Indragiri Hilir has been running for five years ago. But it is not realized yet.

JAKARTA –Palm Oil Farmer Union urged the government especially Ministry of Agriculture to revise the Regulation of Plantation No 39 / 2014. The Regulation was officially announced by the Former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on October 17th, 2014. The regulation is thought to make new problems.

SAMPIT – State Electricity Company (SEC), Branch Sampit,  District East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan Province, tries to solve the electricity crisis. One of them is by buying the electricity power from palm oil company.

To support the programme, Cooperation, Small Business, and Industry Agency, Kotabaru askes for the investor to operate the biodiesel factory in Village of Tegalsari, Subdistrict of Kelumpanghilir.

INFOSAWIT/JAKARTA- The  decreasing crude oil in the world has hit the national palm oil industries. Referring to Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industry Association (IVOIA), the downstrem industrial project in 2013 was not good for the national palm oil (CPO) just reached 23,6 millions of tons with the main compositions were CPO (42% or 9,9 millions of tons) and others (58% or about 13,7 millions of tons).

BANGKO – Palm oil replanting programme in District of Merangin, Jambi Province found some problems. So Regent of Merangin, Al Haris and Vice Regent, A Khafid Moein will cooperate with State Enterprice, PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI (PTPN VI) to run the programme.
