SAMPIT – State Electricity Company (SEC), Branch Sampit, District East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan Province, tries to solve the electricity crisis. One of them is by buying the electricity power from palm oil company.
“There is no other option, we must buy the power from palm oil company for there are lots of housings especially in the village having no electricity,” Manager SEC, branch Sampit, Ginter said, Saturday (7/2).
He thought, as written in Antara, what the SEC branch Sampit has done is not similar to all housing for the limited power. So the best option to solve the electricity deficit is by buying it from the palm oil company having excessive power.
Beside that, there are many villages having no electricity for they are too far from the electricity power. The solution is by making cooperation with the palm oil company and by founding new power plant near the villages.
“At this moment, there are two palm oil companies making cooperation with the SEC branch Sampit, they are PT SSM and PT MAS,” he explained. (T3)
