KAMERUN – To increase palm oil productivity up to 26% for the next three years, government of Cameroon plans to use superior palm oil seeds. African Farming reported, Secretary of Agriculture of Cameroon, Essime Menye said, the new seeds will be planted in a 30 thousand hectare area.
It is hoped, the CPO production will be 290 thousands of tons per year from the previous one which reaching 230 thousands of tons. Beside that, in 2020 the government plans to decrease the CPO imports.. (T3)
