InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA – The Government of East Kalimantan Province has increased the official price of oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) for the second pricing period of July 2026, reflecting stronger market fundamentals for crude palm oil and palm kernel.
According to the provincial FFB Pricing Committee, the benchmark price for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years increased by Rp50.56 per kilogram, bringing the official rate to Rp3,528.11/kg for the period of July 16–31, 2026.
Based on data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the East Kalimantan Plantation Agency, FFB prices were also determined according to plantation age.
Trees aged three years were priced at Rp3,098.00/kg, four years at Rp3,196.74/kg, five years at Rp3,285.22/kg, six years at Rp3,357.21/kg, seven years at Rp3,405.65/kg, and eight years at Rp3,460.65/kg.
Meanwhile, nine-year-old palms were valued at Rp3,503.04/kg, while prices gradually declined for older plantations beyond 20 years of age.
The committee also set the reference price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at Rp15,069.48/kg, while palm kernel was valued at Rp13,156.42/kg.
The official pricing serves as a reference for transactions between mills and partner growers throughout East Kalimantan, although actual prices received by farmers may vary depending on local agreements, quality standards, and transportation costs. (T2)
