InfoSAWIT, PADANG – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for palm oil in West Sumatra increased during the second September 2026 pricing period. For palms aged 10–20 years, the FFB price was set at IDR 4,027.65 per kilogram for September 8–14, up IDR 22.18 per kilogram from IDR 4,005.47 per kilogram in the previous period.
The latest price was determined during a meeting of the West Sumatra Palm Oil FFB Price Setting Team on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Plantation Division Hall on Rasuna Said Street in Padang.
Based on the official FFB price-setting record reviewed by InfoSAWIT, the prices apply to cooperative units partnering with palm oil producers across West Sumatra. The calculation is based on palm age.
For three-year-old palms, the FFB price was set at IDR 3,164.69 per kilogram. Four-year-old palms were priced at IDR 3,343.95 per kilogram, while five-year-old palms reached IDR 3,562.34 per kilogram.
The price for six-year-old palms stood at IDR 3,657.36 per kilogram, followed by IDR 3,798.59 for seven-year-old palms and IDR 3,938.82 for eight-year-old palms.
Nine-year-old palms were priced at IDR 4,016.86 per kilogram, while the 10–20-year age group reached IDR 4,027.65 per kilogram.
For older palms, the price was set at IDR 3,873.93 per kilogram for 21-year-old palms and IDR 3,867.12 for 22-year-old palms.
The price for 23-year-old palms stood at IDR 3,808.10 per kilogram, while 24-year-old palms were set at IDR 3,629.78. For 25-year-old palms, the price reached IDR 3,588.10 per kilogram.
CPO and Palm Kernel Prices
The latest FFB calculation used a crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,756.19 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the palm kernel price was recorded at IDR 13,462.13 per kilogram.
The K Index used in the calculation stood at 94.34 percent, while the shell value was set at IDR 15.63 per kilogram.
The West Sumatra FFB Price Setting Team has scheduled the next price-setting meeting for the third September 2026 period, covering September 15–21. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
The latest adjustment keeps West Sumatra's 10–20-year-old palm FFB price above IDR 4,000 per kilogram during the second September pricing period. (T2)
