Riau Independent Smallholder Palm Oil FFB Prices Fall to IDR 3,912.24 per Kg

InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for palm oil produced by independent smallholders in Riau declined for the September 16–22, 2026 period. The highest price was set at IDR 3,912.24 per kilogram for nine-year-old palms, down IDR 31.22 per kilogram from IDR 3,943.46 per kilogram in the previous period.

The latest price was determined by the Riau Provincial Palm Oil FFB Price Setting Team and recorded in the minutes of the meeting on September 15, 2026.

According to the official record, the average crude palm oil (CPO) price used in the calculation stood at IDR 15,750.59 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the average palm kernel price reached IDR 14,339.00 per kilogram.

The K Index used in the FFB pricing formula was set at 93.34 percent, while the shell value was recorded at IDR 24.76 per kilogram.

These components formed the basis for determining FFB prices for independent smallholders in Riau during the latest pricing period.

For three-year-old palms, the FFB price was set at IDR 3,028.66 per kilogram. The price for four-year-old palms reached IDR 3,378.20 per kilogram, while five-year-old palms were priced at IDR 3,625.74 per kilogram.

Six-year-old palms were set at IDR 3,765.56 per kilogram, followed by IDR 3,850.46 for seven-year-old palms and IDR 3,897.11 for eight-year-old palms.

The highest price in the latest period was recorded for nine-year-old palms at IDR 3,912.24 per kilogram. For palms aged 10–20 years, the price was set at IDR 3,871.50 per kilogram.

Prices for older palms continued to decline. The rate stood at IDR 3,806.28 per kilogram for 21-year-old palms and IDR 3,731.17 for 22-year-old palms. For 23-year-old palms, the price was IDR 3,645.77 per kilogram, while 24-year-old palms were set at IDR 3,581.08.

The FFB price for 25-year-old palms reached IDR 3,528.02 per kilogram, followed by IDR 3,508.91 for 26-year-old palms and IDR 3,479.38 for 27-year-old palms.

For 28-year-old palms, the price was set at IDR 3,423.38 per kilogram, while 29-year-old palms stood at IDR 3,382.21. The price for 30-year-old palms was IDR 3,288.12 per kilogram.

The next Riau FFB price determination for the September 23–29 period is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. (T2)
