InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA – Fresh fruit bunches (FFB) prices for oil palm in East Kalimantan remained broadly stable during the first half of September 2026, with only a marginal decline recorded for mature plantations.

The price was determined during a meeting held on September 15, 2026, based on data and information submitted by plantation companies participating in East Kalimantan’s FFB Price Determination Team.
The provincial FFB price schedule shows that oil palms aged three years were priced at Rp3,164.88 per kilogram, while four-year-old palms were set at Rp3,265.78 per kilogram. Five-year-old palms reached Rp3,356.25 per kilogram, followed by Rp3,429.75 per kilogram for six-year-old palms.
For seven-year-old palms, the price was Rp3,479.22 per kilogram, while eight-year-old palms were valued at Rp3,535.39 per kilogram.
The price for nine-year-old palms stood at Rp3,578.75 per kilogram. Meanwhile, palms aged 10–20 years recorded Rp3,604.37 per kilogram, the highest price in the September 1–15 schedule.
For older plantations, the FFB price was set at Rp3,551.74 per kilogram for 21-year-old palms, Rp3,480 for 22-year-old palms and Rp3,402.54 for 23-year-old palms. The price for 24-year-old palms reached Rp3,363.91 per kilogram, while 25-year-old palms were set at Rp3,332.18 per kilogram.
The calculation for the first September period used a weighted average CPO price of Rp15,392.82 per kilogram and a weighted average palm kernel price of Rp13,187.62 per kilogram. The K index used in the calculation was set at 89.63 percent.
Compared with the previous period in August, the 10–20-year FFB price slipped by Rp0.29 per kilogram, equivalent to a decline of around 0.01 percent. The officially determined prices apply to plasma plantations and independent plantations that have established partnerships in accordance with applicable regulations.
The prices are valid for FFB sales from September 1 to September 15, 2026.
The marginal movement indicates that East Kalimantan’s palm oil smallholders entered September with relatively stable FFB prices, despite fluctuations in CPO markets. (T2)
