Teladan Prima Agro Posts Strong First-Half 2026 Performance as Revenue Climbs 6.5%

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Indonesian palm oil producer PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN) delivered solid financial and operational growth in the first half of 2026, reporting higher revenue, stronger profitability, and increased production, supported by improved palm oil prices and higher sales volumes.

The company recorded revenue of Rp2.71 trillion during the January–June 2026 period, representing a 6.5% increase compared with the same period last year.

Crude palm oil (CPO) remained the company's primary revenue driver, generating Rp2.32 trillion in sales, up 4.6% year-on-year. Palm kernel (PK) sales contributed Rp227.01 billion, supported by a 5.3% increase in sales volume and a 9.3% rise in average selling prices. Meanwhile, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) generated Rp158.02 billion, benefiting from higher volumes and stronger prices.

Despite facing rising production costs due to increased purchases of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from third parties and higher plantation maintenance expenses, Teladan Prima Agro maintained healthy profitability.

For the first six months of 2026, the company reported a gross profit of Rp960.50 billion, EBITDA of Rp904.30 billion, and net profit of Rp543.65 billion.

President Director Wishnu Wardhana said the company's first-half performance reflected the resilience of its business fundamentals amid ongoing challenges in the palm oil industry.

"Our first-half results demonstrate the strength of the Company's business fundamentals. Revenue growth, combined with sustained profitability, reflects our consistent efforts to improve productivity, optimize operational efficiency, and maintain the quality of our plantation assets," Wishnu said in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT.

Operationally, the company also achieved higher production across its plantation business.

FFB production from nucleus estates reached 552,631 tonnes, an increase of 1.5% compared to the same period in 2025. Production from plasma plantations recorded even stronger growth, rising 10.5% to 83,382 tonnes.

The increase in FFB supply lifted total processed FFB volume to 734,369 tonnes, up 4.7% year-on-year.

Supported by a higher Oil Extraction Rate (OER) of 23.13%, CPO production climbed 6.6% to 169,881 tonnes. Palm kernel production also improved to 27,622 tonnes, while CPKO output reached 6,780 tonnes during the reporting period.

According to Wishnu, the stronger operational performance was driven by the consistent implementation of best plantation management practices, including optimized fertilization programs, improved estate infrastructure, and greater use of technology across plantation and mill operations.

The company also continued expanding its Teladan Productivity Technology Science (TPTS) platform, a data-driven system designed to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. On the sustainability front, Teladan strengthened the implementation of its Teladan Green Metrics (TGM) framework to monitor and improve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance as part of its long-term growth strategy.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, Teladan Prima Agro aims to further improve productivity and operational efficiency while maintaining its commitment to sustainable plantation practices.

"We remain optimistic about creating long-term value for our shareholders and stakeholders through strong operational fundamentals and disciplined execution of our business strategy," Wishnu concluded. (T2)
