InfoSAWIT, JAMBI – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm growers in Indonesia's Jambi Province posted a modest increase for the July 31–August 6, 2026 pricing period, reflecting stable market conditions despite ongoing fluctuations in the global palm oil market.
The Jambi Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch Pricing Team agreed to raise the benchmark price for oil palm trees aged 10 to 20 years by Rp12.70 per kilogram, bringing the reference price to Rp3,941.73/kg.
According to pricing data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Office, FFB prices vary based on tree age. Oil palms aged three years were valued at Rp3,276.44/kg, while prices for four- and five-year-old trees reached Rp3,459.28/kg and Rp3,637.12/kg, respectively.
For six- to nine-year-old plantations, prices ranged between Rp3,633.65/kg and Rp3,858.80/kg, reflecting the increasing productivity of maturing plantations.
Beyond the peak productive age, FFB prices gradually declined. Trees aged 21 years were priced at Rp3,880.41/kg, while prices for plantations aged 22 to 30 years ranged from Rp3,791.57/kg to Rp3,166.19/kg.
The pricing committee also set the provincial reference crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,386.36/kg, while palm kernel was valued at Rp14,693.84/kg. Palm shell prices were established at Rp16.76/kg, with the K Index recorded at 93.07%.
The weekly adjustment underscores the province's transparent pricing mechanism, which links farmer payments to prevailing CPO and kernel market values while taking plantation productivity into account.
