West Sumatra Fresh Fruit Bunch Prices Jump Over Rp100/kg in Mid-July Pricing Period

InfoSAWIT, PADANG – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices in West Sumatra recorded a significant increase for the second pricing period of July 2026, supported by stronger palm oil market fundamentals and improved reference prices for crude palm oil and palm kernel.

According to the latest decision issued by the West Sumatra Fresh Fruit Bunch Pricing Committee for the July 8–14, 2026 period, the benchmark price for oil palm trees aged 10 to 20 years rose by Rp101.80 per kilogram, bringing the official price to Rp3,912.72/kg.

Based on data compiled by InfoSAWIT from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops and Horticulture Office, the provincial FFB prices by plantation age are as follows:

3 years: Rp3,070.39/kg

4 years: Rp3,245.31/kg

5 years: Rp3,438.35/kg

6 years: Rp3,550.06/kg

7 years: Rp3,688.57/kg

8 years: Rp3,825.29/kg

9 years: Rp3,901.71/kg

10–20 years: Rp3,912.72/kg

21 years: Rp3,761.61/kg

22 years: Rp3,755.26/kg

23 years: Rp3,698.31/kg

24 years: Rp3,525.85/kg

25 years: Rp3,486.45/kg

The committee also established the provincial reference crude palm oil (CPO) price at Rp15,269.24/kg, while palm kernel was valued at Rp13,603.00/kg. Palm shell was priced at Rp17.84/kg, with the K index set at 93.75%. (T2)

The official FFB prices serve as a reference for transactions between growers and palm oil mills across Jambi. However, actual purchase prices may vary depending on local market conditions and agreements between mills and growers.
