Central Kalimantan Raises Plasma FFB Prices by Rp19.26/kg for Late June Period

InfoSAWIT, PALANGKA RAYA – Oil palm plasma smallholders in Central Kalimantan will benefit from higher fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices after the provincial pricing committee approved a price increase for the second half of June 2026.

Under the latest pricing decision covering the 16–30 June 2026 period, FFB produced by palms aged 10 to 20 years increased by Rp19.26 per kilogram, bringing the official benchmark price to Rp3,609.44/kg.

The adjustment follows the provincial government's routine pricing mechanism designed to provide transparent reference prices for plasma growers operating in partnership with palm oil companies.

According to data obtained by InfoSAWIT from the Central Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Agency, prices continue to vary according to plantation age. FFB from 3-year-old palms was valued at Rp2,953.55/kg, gradually increasing through different age categories before reaching the highest benchmark for productive trees aged 10–20 years.

Older plantations receive lower prices, with 21-year-old palms set at Rp3,555.83/kg, while plantations aged 25 years were valued at Rp3,204.34/kg.

The pricing committee also established the provincial reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) at Rp15,079.60/kg, while palm kernel was priced at Rp12,455.26/kg, using a K Index of 91.45%.

Authorities announced that the next meeting to determine plasma FFB prices for the first period of July 2026 is scheduled to take place on 20 July 2026 in Palangka Raya.

Although the official pricing serves as a benchmark for transactions between plasma growers and partner companies, actual prices received by farmers may vary depending on contractual arrangements and field conditions. (T2)
