InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Amid the bustle of the RSPO Annual Roundtable Conference on Sustainable Palm Oil (RT2025) in Kuala Lumpur, Henky Satrio Wibowo walked calmly through the venue. Just days earlier, he had been appointed Sustainability Director of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS).

For Henky, late October 2025 marked a new chapter in his career. Known internally as a consistent and disciplined professional, he officially took on a strategic role at the center of the company’s sustainability transformation.

“I always carry out my work with full responsibility,” Henky told InfoSAWIT on the sidelines of the conference.

Although he entered the palm oil industry in 2021, Henky brought with him over 22 years of experience in both national and international NGOs, working on issues ranging from community empowerment and public health to anti-corruption and climate change.

This experience enabled him to quickly understand industry challenges, map risks, and formulate solutions aimed at integrating sustainability principles into business practices. (T2)
