JAKARTA – Indonesia’s CPO exporting were decreasing to some destination countries, but there were exception for America.
The Executive Director of Association of Palm Oil Companies in Indonesia (GAPKI), Fadhil Hasan, said the export volume of Indonesia’s CPO to Europe countries were decreasing by 12% from 341 thousand tons in August become 302 thousand tons.
But there were something interesting, that the export volume to United States of America (USA) were increasing by 86% from 36,9 thousand tons in August become 68,8 thousand tons in September 2014.
“This really interesting because the production result of soybean in South America were overflow and the price of soybean also cheap,” he said on his official statement, Tuesday (21st October 2014). (T3)
