MEDAN – The CPO export in North Sumatera to India in the first semester 2014 (1H2014) decreased 42,71%. It happened for the decreasing crude palm oil (CPO) and the derivative trades.
“In 1H2013 it was 473,214 millions dolar US, while in this year in the same period, it was 271,112 millions dolar US,” Head of Central Statistic Agency, North Sumatera, Wien Kusdiatmono said on Saturday (23/8), as written in Sumatera Post Plus.
The foreign exchange happened for the volume, the selling price of CPO and the derivatives also decreased. For information, India in one biggest CPO importer from Indonesia, namely North Sumatera.
The decreasing foreign exchange reached 42,71% from India and it influenced to the North Sumatera’s total foreign exchange in 1H2014 which decreasing 1,62% or to be US$ 4,719 billions. (T3)
