CPO Export Volume Increased to Bangladeh Dan Pakistan

JAKARTA–Executive Director of Indonesia Palm Oil Businessmen Association (IPOBA) Fadhil Hasan said, there were inceasing export activities to some countries, expecially in the most moslem civils.  This happened for the increasing consumption during Ramadhan and Idul Fitri.

“The significant rising demands were from Bangladesh. It increased 55% compared to last month which was 116 thousandstonsto be 180 thousandstons,” he said to InfoSAWIT, Monday (21/7/2014).

Fadhil continued, the rising demands were also from Pakistan, the export volume increased 10% than in the previous month, from 145 thousandstonsto be 160 thousandstons. Beside that, the significant demands were from non-base moslem in European Union.European Union booked increasing exports about 37% than the previous month, from 277,4 thousandstonsto be 381 thousandstons. “China increased 9% and India booked 3%,” he said.

But Fadhil explained, United States of America noted decreasing CPO and the derivatives demands about 27% compared to May, from 36 thousandstonsto be 26,5 thousandstons. (T3)
