MERAUKE - PT Agri Nusa Persada Mulia has planted palm oil in 800 hectares area in Muting Distric, Papua. The planting involved 300 original men in Papua.
Social, Security And License PT Agrinusa Persada Mulia, Teguh Suprijatna said as written in Tabloid Jubi Thursday (17/7/2014), since 2010, the company has run many phases including how to communicate with the indigenous people continously.
Teguh explained, the company has develop palm oil in Muting District in 7500 hectares and in Elikobel District about 2.200 hectares.“Now we start to plant 800 hectares in Muting District and will keep running,” he explained.
He continued, the release of indigenous people’s land, should have the legal information about the status of the area to have business rights from the government, namely the National Land Agency. (T3)
