JAKARTA –The national crude palm oil (CPO)production decreased 11% than last year. General Secretary of Indonesian Palm Oil Businessmen Association Joko Supriyono said, Monday (14/7/2014).
He thought, it could possibly be influenced by the drought in the plantation and politic factors.
“The decreasing production is mostly influenced by external factors, such as, the politics. There was a tendency, the production in Sumatera is the largest decreasing,” he said as written in Antara
Beside that, the drought in some areas, according to Joko, makes the planters decrease the palm oil area productivity.(T3)
