Brussel – In Indonesian embassy press conference in Brussel, national biodiesel industries have paid the anti dumping taxes for palm oil to European Union for about 183 millions of Euro. The anti dumping taxes were published by European Union because of the protests done by European Biodiesel Board in 2013.

The proposal to implement the anti dumping taxes was also supported by Friends of Earth (FoE), a non government organization (NGO) having got 751 thousands Euro in 2013. In its press conference which Tempo also got, FoE has its representative in Indonesia. “It is very ironic, Indonesian NGO cooperate with the NGO and industries in European Union in the name of ‘protectism”. Indonesian embassy felt sorry for that without saying the name of NGO. (T2)
