SAMPIT–Regent of East Kotawaringin, Supian Hadi emphasized that the south region is the center of food plantation. So he instructed to the Regional Secretary not to recommend the palm oil plantation licence in the southern region.
“The south region is the agricultural region. I do not want, the region is planted by palm oil. I just want, there are division centers in the agricultural sectors in East Kotawaringin,” he said.
He explained too, as quoted from Radar Sampit, Friday (15/5) the southern region has become the agricultural region and becomes the center of paddy in East Kotawaringin. So he does not want, palm oil plantations grow in the paddy plantations.(T3)
