JAKARTA – Based on the data which Central Statistic Agency (CSA) announced, Friday (15/5) Indonesian trade balance in April 2015 was surplus about US$ 0,45 billions.
Deputy of Statistic and Service Distribution, CSA, Sasmito Hadi Wibowo said, the surplus was decreasing if it is compared to March 2015. It happened for the non oil and gas surplus just reached US$ 1,13 billions, while the oil and gas deficit reached US$ O,88 billions.
In the first four months of 2015 (January – April) the trade balance cummulatively was surplus US$ 2,77 billions – the exports reached US$ 52,14 billionsand the imports reached US$ 49,36 billions.
“In total, in April, Indonesia had reached the exports about US$ 13,08 billionsand the imports reached US$ 12,63 billions. The decreasing exports happened in coal. But the crude palm oil (CPO) increased, both in the volume and the price. (T3)
