KUALA LUMPUR - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Biotechnology Corporation (BiotechCorp) DatukDrMohdNazlee Kamal said, as the advanced industry in biotechnology, the company has gone forward to be the spears in developing biogas from palm oil mill effluent (POME).

“In the Bioeconomy Transformation Programme, within the projects to converse the waste in the form of POME to be the green energy, we increase the renewable source of energy in contributing to the national electricity stock,” he said some time ago.

Nazlee continued as quoted from Bernama, BiotechCorp could double the income for the BioNexus company. It will be about 10% than the income in last year.

In 2014, BioNexus booked the increasing income to be RM 1,29 billions from RM 1,7 billions in 2013.(T3)
