JAKARTA –Coordinator Secretary of Economy, Sofjan Djalil said, President of Indonesian Republic, Joko Widodo has signed the Draft of Government’s Regulation and the President’s Regulation about the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Supporting Fund (CSF).

“President had signed it yesterday night. We do sign the BLU,” he said in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/5).

Through the fund, the government will have enough fund to subsidize the biodiesel. In the realization, the government will take the fund about US$ 50 from the CPO exports and US4 30 from the CPO derivative products.

“The fund will be used to subsidize the biodiesel. But it is only about 40%. The rest fund will be for replanting programme for the farmers, to educate the farmers. Lots of them plant but they do not really understand and have knowledge,” he explained in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/4).

He continued, the estimation of CSF, if it is running for a year, will be about US$ 700 millions or about Rp 7 – 8 billions. (T3)
