JAKARTA – In the first quarter of 2015 (1Q2015), PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk booked, the fruit production slightly increased to be 265.385 tonsfrom 265.358 tons in 1Q2014.
The increasing production, the company explained in April, happened for the bigger contribution from the main plantations which increased 5%. The external side, especially from the plasma partners, the volume production was lower 8% than the production in 1Q2014.
The low cycle started from the fourth quarter of 2014 (4Q2014) and kept running until 1Q2015, so the fruit production in the first quarter decreased more than 24%. The decreasing production also happened for the external contibution which decreased 44% and the main volume production decreased 5% only. (T3)
